More Than That - Season 2

A Dentsu Good initiative, “More Than That” is “A journey that Illuminates Black Voices” through a series of video interviews and podcast clips. More Than That has since gone on to produce 3 seasons of content, including a 4-Part Limited TV Series (launched September 2023). Across three successful seasons of radio and their first season of TV, they’re invested over $14 million dollars back into the Black community.

Instagram serves as the show’s main hub area for all of their content, including preview video clips, audio segments, guest biographies and various graphics to keep users up-to-date on the next episode’s guest appearances and where they can listen to each week’s full episode. These images would be seen by over 2,200 followers.

The overall art direction involves using bright and vibrant colour palettes. This is done as a means of aligning with the overall tone of each episode. The bold, blocky typesetting is used to create a sense of visual hierarchy and to help draw the attention of the user to each post. We alternate colours when it comes to the content design of each episode to prevent everything from feeling too similar.
